Ischia is a thermal island,the harbour it was draw out by a cone of a vulcany. Ischia porto is the center of all the island and is divide in two side,the new Center with a lot of shop and bar,and the old storic center of Ischia ponte near the castello aragonese.
Just up on the right we arrive at the little country of Casamicciola terme famous for the first public thermal center. Three km and we are in the center of Lacco ameno most famous for his stone mushroom placed in the middle of his coast. Lacco ameno offer at his client a very good view on the tirrenium sea.
Next to Lacco Ameno we have the half tower, and Villa La Colombaia private house of Luchino Visconti a very famous movie maker deceased, today is a museum. By now we are in the town of Forio,and we start to have a watch of the beach of S.Francesco and Punta Caruso, just up there we find the garden of sir William Walton "La Mortella" a big garden with a lot of prestigious plants, tlower and terrace. That Beautiful garden in the 2004 won "The most beautiful garden of Italy". Forio is the much picturesque town of the island dominated by the epomeo mountain Where living the much important wines of all the island. The town is also dominated by two tower ruin of the original sixteen to make control of the pirates attacks,
On the main square we can appreciate the beautiful church of "Soccorso" where we can sec a very beautiful sunset and sometime a mysterious green flash. Further Forio we meet the beautiful beach of Citara dedicated at the Venus Citarea. hi Citara we can find The Poseidon Garden the most beautiful thermal park in the island. From the promontory of Punta imperatore we can see a very beautiful panorama on the right Sorrento and is coast and on the left the circeo mount and the Lazio coast. At Punta Chiarita we can go down the sea of sorgeto where we can swim all the year for the centigrade of the water. Just after the little country of Panza we arrive in the old fisherman village of S.Angelo the much beautiful and quiet place of
the island. On the left of this promontory we have the beach of the fumarole most famous for the natural thermal water discovered by the roman. Next to fumarole the beautiful beach of maronti famous for the clear water. Just up this beach we have the two little country of Serrara Fontana and Barano.
In Serrara Fontana we can find the source of Nitrodi famous for his miraculous water for all the pain all the tourist goes. Barano is just famous for his suggestive position,maybe the must beautiful in the island.
